Purpose and Authority:
The knowledge translation and communication committee (KTC) will meet as required to advise the CPCSSN Committee on methods and priorities for both knowledge translation and for communications policy, dealing specifically with issues surrounding: evidence-based translation of newly gained research knowledge to the research community, provider community and larger patient community; implementation and dissemination of web-based communications and information sharing; press releases; copy right issues; control of information; and, official publications to be released by the Network. The Standing Committee will make operational and implement the directions of the CPCSSN Committee in the areas of knowledge translation and communication.

Minimum of 2 members chosen from participating PBRNs
Consultants and/or experts as deemed necessary by the Chair
CIHI (1 non-voting member)
