Purpose and Authority:

The Surveillance & Research Standing Committee will make recommendations to the Board of Directors on research projects and areas of study/data collection. The Research & Surveillance Standing Committee will also act as the coordinating body between research streams/projects.  Surveillance & Research sub-committees will be established as deemed necessary by the Standing Committee. The Standing Committee will coordinate work between projects and research streams to reduce duplication and increase efficiencies.
